In 2003 the idea was conceived to manufacture truck mud flaps from recycled conveyor belting collected from the surrounding mines in the area. After thorough research, HRH Rubber Products was established in January 2005 and production began immediately.
We're proud to be the largest manufacturer in South Africa
The idea was such a resounding success that we added truck chevrons as a second product. Sales of the chevrons was so successful that today we’re proud to announce that we’re the largest manufacturer of trucking chevrons in South Africa, producing on average 15 000 chevrons a month at our facility based in Springs.

BEWARE OF FAKE CHEVRONS
Our locally produced chevrons are manufactured in accordance with specification 1329-4 as sanctioned by SABS. We are audited every 6-months to make ensure we are compliant and follow procedures as laid down by SABS. This is to ensure the safety of road users, and to ensure the highest safety procedures are followed. This is also to ensure “no fatalities” occur on our roads. It is for this reason, our raw materials are tested and approved by SABS.
When purchasing chevrons, ensure you receive a “certification of compliance” from the manufacturer.
For example, the easiest way to explain why this is so important, is there are reflective materials as seen (with the naked eye) available on the market that looks exactly the same as the genuine product. The difference being the ‘fake’ products do not have the correct ‘reflective’ values, as the regulated product.
In short, you can see the vehicle at twice the distance before the accident occurs, using the genuine product.
